Will it fit?
Which jars does Quopener work on?
Jars with a lid from 5 to 9 cm across. Vacuum or not doesn't matter, so peanut butter and stuck jam too. Bottles only if the cap is at least 5 cm across.
What if it doesn't fit or doesn't work on my jar?
Then you get your money back. Often it's down to the size setting. Just email us at info@quopener.com and we'll take a look with you first. You'll hear from us within one working day.
Use
Does it really work on a very stuck jar?
Yes, that's exactly what it's made for. Even the jar of jam that has been stuck for weeks opens, because you press with both hands at once instead of turning with one hand. Doesn't it open straight away? Set the size a little tighter. How it works shows you how.
Do I need a lot of strength?
No. The jar stays put and your wrist doesn't turn. You just press the handles together, and that takes much less force than opening a jar by hand.
Do I have to hold the jar?
No. The jar simply stays on the counter.
Does it work with wet or greasy hands?
Yes. You don't hold the jar, so it doesn't matter.
How do I set the size?
With the two handles, in a few steps. On How it works there is a short video that shows how and when.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
Yes.
Can it damage the lid?
Not with normal use. Quopener grips the edge of the lid and doesn't press on the glass. After opening, you simply screw the lid back on.
Ordering
Do I get a discount if I buy more?
Yes. One Quopener costs €24.95. From 2, you pay €19.95 each, also for the third and fourth. You can mix red and blue. You see the discount straight away in your basket.
What is the difference between red and blue?
Only the colour. From 2, you pay €19.95 each, also if you choose two of the same.
Does my Quopener look exactly like the one in the video?
Almost. The video and the photos of it in use show an earlier version. The Quopener you receive has an anthracite top. It works the same way.
Can I have Quopener sent as a gift?
Yes. At checkout, enter the recipient's address as the delivery address. We don't offer gift wrapping; Quopener comes in its own box.
When will it arrive?
Your order leaves within 1 working day. Shipping within the Netherlands is free, and shipping to the rest of the EU costs €4.45. You get a tracking code as soon as your parcel is on its way.
